The SBN went on the first company visit since its inception to RDH Building Science Toronto office where it was met with a team of enthusiastic and talented RDH staff and a multitude of insightful conversations.
Sarah Gray (Principal, RDH Building Science) gave an introductory presentation to the SBN group on the company history, its line of services and areas of expertise, as well as a general outlook on the green building industry. Afterwards, students got an opportunities to inquire about the industry and career development in more detail in the Q&A and mingling sessions.
The RDH company visit was the first “field trip” that the SBN had even taken on, and offered phenomenal insights into careers in engineering consulting with emphases on building envelope engineering and energy & sustainability services.
